FAQ

You need an internet connection, and a computer or tablet with a camera. Depending on your mobility you may want someone to spot you for balance training .
Virtual classes are great! However they are general classes that address general fitness. One on one training sessions provide exercise instruction specifically for your level of fitness. On line classes may be too hard or too easy. With a virtual session we can adjust your exercise program in real time to meet your needs, as well as assuring your are performing exercises correctly.
Having exercise equipment like hand weights or elastic bands is helpful. But, depending on your fitness level, you can use water bottles or cans for weights, also body weight exercises can be very effective.
Absolutely! We can address your individual needs even with a special health condition. If you use an assistive device to walk, you may need a spotter for balance training, but we can address your individual needs.
We can send an invoice right to your inbox where you can pay by checking account or credit card. We also take Venmo and Cash App. Pay per session or purchase several sessions.

I began working with Agewell Senior Fitness back in the middle of Covid in 2020 and it was nothing short of a great experience. The organization and Katrina are professional, responsive, helpful, and friendly. My trainer, Chelsea, was EXCELLENT and I couldn’t have had a better person to work with. Her expertise and skill as a trainer was apparent for the very first session, and continued throughout the almost year she was my trainer. As a note, it was 100% remote/virtual training via Zoom…and though face-to-face would have been the ultimate, that was not possible (distance and Covid). Chelsea did a great job of adapting to the virtual world to work with me and it was more than I could have asked for — and she had never done virtual before! Prior to working with Chelsea, I had spend several years of becoming way out of shape and not as healthy as I needed to be. She assessed my skill levels, my needs, and where we both thought I should be and what to work towards. She has a great way of working with people and is able to push to do better while making it fun and “lighthearted”… a great combination in my book. I had specific goals and levels of “healthy” I wanted to get to…I will say that without Agewell Senior Fitness and without Chelsea as my trainer, I would not have met those goals…and would not have been able to physically handle the activities I am planning.
