Your Parkinsons Disease Personal Trainers Specialized programs for your specific needs
More Than Your Average Trainers All of our Certified Personal Trainers are also experienced rehab professionals, and have worked extensively with people living with Parkinson’s Disease.
If you’ve already had physical therapy but been discharged, or you go to the Parkinson’s Classes but wish the program was more tailored to YOUR abilities, personal training is for you.
Exercise is important for everyone but its especially important if you are living with Parkinson’s Disease.
Exercise can slow the progression of PD, improve mobility, cognition and mood. Also there are certain types of exercise that should be part of every Parkinson’s exercise program….
Because of our trainers extensive experience in rehab we are able to design exercise programs for all abilities. From new diagnosis to clients needing dependent care, we have something for everyone.
Each individual with Parkinson’s Disease has their own unique challenges. Our trainers tailor each program to meet each client’s specific needs. Programs address, balance, strength, endurance, agility, and flexibility, using evidence based interventions specifically for PD.
No need to even leave your home. Our trainers come right to your house bringing all the equipment you might need. Have your own exercise equipment? Great! We can teach you how to put it to use. Don’t let poor mobility, self consciousness or bad weather keep you from your workout.
