Ben’s love for exercise and helping others lead him to get a degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University. He was certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Specialist in 2011 and went on to work as a personal trainer in physical therapy clinics for over 10 years. In that time, he worked with a wide range of clients. He has worked with post-surgical clients with orthopedic conditions such as joint replacements and spinal injuries, and patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, stroke, and dementia. He has also rehabbed people with cancer,lobectomies, osteoporosis, and diabetes, just to list a few.In seeing how exercise has directly affected his client’s lives, he went on to pursue his Medical Exercise Specialist certification in 2020.
Using a protocol-based approach for program design, Ben likes to keep things safe, fun, and challenging. Even for clients who think they can’t do much, Ben strives to keep them motivated and gain more confidence by moving and exercising. He does believe you can teach an old dog new tricks!
He enjoys teaching group classes, designing exercise programs, and cultivating relationships. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Janelle is an ACSM certified Personal Trainer, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Professional Yoga Therapist and Certified Falls Prevention Specialist with a passion for helping seniors and individuals with neurological conditions, stay active and mobile.
Janelle has 13yrs of experience working in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient neuro rehab, and homecare as well as owning her own in home physical therapy practice in NY prior to moving to Maryland.
Janelle recognizes the importance of physical activity in keeping seniors functioning in their home, preventing falls and maintaining their independence as much as possible. She has also worked with individuals who have had a stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis and more. Janelle appreciates and celebrates every victory and accomplishment with her clients, as even the smallest gains need celebrating!
Janelle uses an integrative approach to wellness, incorporating yoga postures, traditional exercises, functional mobility, the use of breath work, and mindful movement to help improve function. She sees her clients as a whole person and not just a body part by creating an individualized approach to each client’s wellness.
In her spare time Janelle enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband, going on hikes, exercising, knitting, and getting into nature.
