Your part
These programs work best when you take an active role. Between sessions, you are expected to:
- Practice your program as your trainer instructed
- Write down any questions that come up
- Bring those questions to your next session
- Arrive ready to perform your program
Practice outside your appointments is one of the most important parts of becoming comfortable exercising on your own.
Equipment
You are responsible for any equipment your home program needs. That may include dumbbells, resistance bands, kettlebells, a stability ball, a bench or step, or other items your trainer recommends. Your trainer will only recommend equipment appropriate for your program and goals.
What these programs are — and are not
These programs are designed to teach you to exercise safely and independently. They are not ongoing personal training.
They are a good fit for anyone who wants professional guidance without committing to ongoing sessions. You will leave with a personalized plan and the confidence to continue on your own.
After your program
Once you have finished, you can:
- Continue exercising independently
- Book individual follow-up appointments as your goals change, subject to trainer availability
- Book a 30-minute virtual consultation for questions
